The Magic Triangle is a key tool for planning effective interactions and facilitation. Based on Ruth Cohn’s Theme-Centred Interaction (TCI), it emphasises the balance between three essential elements: the topic, the individuals (I Level), and the group (We Level).
As Cohn put it:
“A group of adults has excellent results when the topic is balanced with the needs of individuals and the needs of the group.”
At Civil Society Academy International, we use the Magic Triangle to design and facilitate sessions that are engaging, inclusive, and purpose-driven.
