Step up your Leadership and Team Management

Our workshops on Leadership and Team Management can elevate your entire team or organisation to another level: towards a positive and collaborative culture with self-managed and accountable team members that effectively contribute to change.

Our leadership and management support consistently receives only the best marks from participants and leaders. Since 2014, we have collected experiences with dozens of teams and hundreds of civil society leaders from the global south. Our most common formats are:

  • Leadership and team management workshops, introducing basic concepts, reflecting on current self- and team leadership and management practices and creating commitment to behavioural changes on personal and team level

  • Hands-on introduction of more effective team processes, for instance by training the team on agile management practices and facilitating the team processes for an introductory period.

  • Intensive and longer-term leadership and fellowship programs which combine training and leadership coaching

MOST WANTED Workshop: If your team is rather new to management topics, and you want to bring the team collectively to a higher level, we recommend our residential 4–5-day leadership and team management workshop format.

KEY CONCEPTS

  • We use a large toolkit for self-reflection on leadership and management practices, including a self-leadership model, value-based leadership, day-to-day management tasks, and our adaptation of the 7 habits of highly effective people

  • We use tested models to reflect on team performance by looking at the phases of team development, prevalent practices to manage individuals, accountability processes, and the status of performance management.

  • We connect our concepts to purpose and civil society, through case studies of some of the most inspirational people and organisations in the sector

  • Where applicable, we introduce agile processes for organisations and teams, such as design thinking, scrum or holacracy

  • We offer leadership coaching in accordance with the practices and principles of the International Coaching Federation. Many of our facilitators are profession
