For Whom:

This training is designed for social entrepreneurs, NGO and CSO staff, community leaders, innovators, and support organisations who want to develop, launch, or strengthen social enterprises and inclusive business models.

The course offers hands-on tools, peer learning, and real-world insights to move from ideas to implementation. Participants work with proven frameworks and case studies from successful social enterprises to build ventures that are both impactful and financially sustainable.


What you will work on

  • From problem to enterprise idea: 

    Identify social or environmental challenges and turn them into viable social enterprise concepts through structured ideation and validation processes.

  • Lean and adaptive management: 

    Apply lean entrepreneurship approaches to test assumptions, learn from users, and iteratively improve products, services, and business models.

  • Customers, beneficiaries, and feedback: 

    Design value propositions that work for both beneficiaries and paying customers, using continuous feedback to strengthen relevance and uptake.

  • Financing and investment pathways: 

    Understand typical funding and investment cycles for social enterprises, including grants, impact investment, and blended finance, and how to prepare for investors.

  • Learning from practice: 

    Analyse successful cases such as micro-franchising models for off-grid solarinclusive agricultural enterprises like One Acre Fund and Amul, and other mission-driven ventures, with opportunities to exchange directly with experienced social business founders.


Training includes:

  • 4 days of training

  • All training material

Training fee:

  • International NGOs & Affiliates: EUR 700

  • National NGOs from India: INR 25,000
