Online Facilitation

The spread of Covid-19 has given most of us no other choice than to work from home. In these challenging circumstances and with many technological developments, the entire scenario of training has changed. Virtual training and facilitation or online training have become the norm, with the availability of a variety of software options. Hence to continue with our capacity and talent development to inspire civil society actors to fulfill their vision and mission, we are offering this 4-day course on how to do virtual trainings.​This training is designed based on our own experiences of doing webinars, virtual teamwork, and e-workshops. Besides a strong focus on becoming a virtual facilitator, we also include the concept of good facilitation practices that are relevant both - online and offline.​Each interactive workshop has a total of 8 sessions spread over 4 consecutive days. Each session is for 1 hour and 30 minutes.The training includes an orientation to online facilitation tools and involves practice on online platforms like Zoom and Miro.​This course is designed for:Everyone working as facilitators and trainers in civil society organizations and others working in civil society who wish to learn virtual facilitation skills. Basic skills of operating a laptop or desktop is a must. Basic experience of using an online video conferencing platform is preferred
