For Whom:

For civil society professionals, advocates, and programme staff from NGOs, networks, and alliances who want to strengthen their advocacy practice, work effectively in coalitions, and increase their influence on policy and decision-making.


What it is about:

  • Design effective advocacy strategies using context and power analysis and the Advocacy Canvas, grounded in real policy environments

  • From plans to practice: applying the advocacy cycle and principles of adaptive management to respond to changing contexts and opportunities

  • Build and manage advocacy coalitions, including roles, governance, trust-building, and collective decision-making

  • Influence policymakers through a range of practical strategies such as lobbying, providing evidence, strategic messaging, and targeted policy interventions.


Training includes:

  • 4 days of training

  • All training material

  • Lunch, drinks and snacks at the venue

  • Impact Training Certificate


Training fee:

  • International NGOs & Affiliates: 700 EUR

  • National NGOs from Ethiopia: 350 EUR
