The world is changing from competition to co-creation, from control to acceptance, from discipline and distance to love at work. Female leaders tend to be more inclusive and community-driven. They are more likely to lead by consensus, rather than try to dictate the rules. Women often motivate their employees by helping them find self-worth and satisfaction in their work. Men are more likely to use the transactional leadership approach of providing incentives for success and penalties for failing. Men tend to be good at branding themselves. Women are more likely to be modest or silent about their own accomplishment. Reading these lines, you might have nodded. But the biggest difference between male and female is their physical difference (and this by the way is beautiful and the key to exceptional leadership – to love, honor and live our own femininity). The main differences we encounter are due to the societies and rules we are born into. It is time to have transparency about these (often unnatural) rules and decide if we stick with them or define our own ones. This course on women leadership is a journey of self-discovery, to find and live your own truth!!!
This course includes 8 online sessions speading over 4 consecutive days. Each day includes two sessions. One session is of 1 hour and 30 minutes duration.
The course is designed for every woman working in civil society organizations who wants to become an outstanding leader by discovering her true self and learning pragmatic and effective leadership skills. We welcome participants from all levels of organizations and from diverse departments, which create a rich mix of experience and perspectives.
As this course will be a journey into your inner space, you need to be ready for this and reserve some reflection time in the evenings during our training week.
