Long-term tailormade support

Organisational Development

For OAK Foundation

The project titled “Empowering Civil Society for Social Change in Jharkhand” was initiated on 1st October 2018. Civil Society Academy (CSA) and Gender at Work (G@W) collaborated to support five organizations from Jharkhand – Ekjut, Ibtida, Maitri, JATN, and Samvad on organizational development and leadership. In the first phase, CSA and G@W had carried out a detailed needs assessment of their respective partners through workshops and deep-dive sessions. CSA has provided tailor-made support on leadership and organizational development to Ekjut and Maitri and also offered training on leadership and fundraising to the other partners Ibtida, JATN and Samvad in coordination with G@W.

“We had a plan, to begin with, but didn’t have the clarity on how to go through it step by step. That is where CSA's constant engagement has helped us.”
