Lioba holds a diploma and doctorate in nutrition and has been working as an independent consultant, trainer, facilitator, and evaluator for German bilateral cooperation (BMZ, GIZ, KfW), non-governmental organizations (e.g. Welthungerhilfe, Misereor, Bread for the World / EED), the United Nations ( WEP, FAO), and the European Union for more than 30 years. Her thematic priorities include food and nutrition security, poverty reduction, MDGs / SDGs, Civil Society, just to name a few.

Joachim is passionate about social justice and on a mission to support like-minded civil society actors and social entrepreneurs to become more powerful and innovative. Hence, in 2014 he left his NGO career to build the Civil Society Academy. He is an outstanding facilitator and coach with expertise in social innovation, leadership, organisational change and advocacy. After 20+ years in Africa and Asia, he is now based in Berlin.
Sohini has been working in the development sector for more than two decades, mostly on capacity building, governance, and human rights in the South Asian context. She now works fulltime for CSA. Her roles include facilitation, course coordination, outreach Asia, mentoring, and networking.
Stefan is a Bali based consultant, trainer, and coach with more than 10 years of experience in Germany, South Asia, and Southeast Asia. He has extensive experience in moderating and facilitating multi-stakeholder processes in a participative way, as well as setting up training modules in the fields of communication, team development, conflict management, participatory planning, and moderation.
Claudia has an academic background in intercultural conflict management and is a certified mediator. Since 2010, Claudia has worked in various positions for Johanniter International Assistance, both in humanitarian and development settings. Currently, she is running the office of Johanniter in Southeast Asia, supporting programmes in cooperation with Cambodian Civil Society Organisations on community health, WASH, and livelihood.

With a professional background in economics, sociology, and rural development, Dirk is committed to the civil society sector for over 20 years. Being with Welthungerhilfe since 2003, he has worked in consultancy and leadership positions throughout Asia: Afghanistan, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Laos, and North Korea. He has extensive experience in planning, management, and leadership.
Sweta has been working in the public health and nutrition sector for the past 20 years and has extensive experience in working with the community. As a nutrition specialist at Welthungerhilfe India, she further provides need-based capacity building support to Welthungerhilfe´s projects in India, Nepal, and Bangladesh.
Bunrithy has worked in the development sector with both national and international non-governmental organizations for almost 20 years. He joined the CSA team in 2015, first as a participant of the very first comprehensive course Leadership in Civil Society, then as a co-facilitator of the second course the year after. He has extensive experience in moderating and facilitating trainings and workshops, from the grassroots to the national level, and is now reaching out to the international arena.

Marita has been working in the education and development sector for almost three decades and became a consultant in 2014. Her thematic priorities include community development, human rights and peace education, strategic planning and visioning, programme management, team and leadership building, and communication skills.

Carina has a professional background in international management and social entrepreneurship and has worked and lived in Uganda for more than 5 years. She has worked with international and national NGOs, foundations and social enterprises. At CSA, Carina works as Training Design Coordinator under the Scaling Initiative and is responsible for designing, testing and facilitating top-quality trainings, workshops and training tools. Moreover, she facilitates open trainings such as Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
Petra’s mission is to be a source of inspiration and love that holds a space for everyone to grow and flow. She has been working in different sectors in Europe, Africa, Asia and Latin America. Being an organizational psychologist, economist and political scientist with a doctorate in change management, her trainings, lectures, and coaching are nurtured with her interdisciplinary approach.
Petra facilitates our tailor-made trainings related to Multi-Actor-Partnerships (MAP). Moreover, she is a facilitator of the open trainings Leadership and Team Management, and Organisational Development.
Josantony is Advisor (Maharashtra) to the Commissioner appointed by the Supreme Court of India on Food Security. He is on the Board of Creative Handicrafts, a Fair Trade organisation in India. Josantony was instrumental in setting up and conducting advocacy programs for the National Center for Advocacy Studies in India. He is an international resource person who has worked in Africa, the US, Canada and many countries in Europe and the Far East.

Tesfaye holds a Doctor in Transformational Leadership/DTL in Entrepreneurial Organisational Transformation, MA in Organisational Leadership and BSc in Agricultural Economics. Previous to founding Sankofa Consultancy Service (SCS), he had worked with the government as well as NGOs in different leading positions. Tesfaye established SCS in 2014 and ever since he has been facilitating workshops and trainings on diverse topics such as change leadership, project cycle management, and organisational capacity assessment of CBOs.
Subhankar has 19 years of experience working in the development sector. He is in the lead for CSA in India. Prior to joining CSA he had worked with Welthungerhilfe, Tata Trust and PRADAN. Subhankar has extensive experience working with large scale programmes on livelihoods and skills development, food and nutrition security, and social entrepreneurship, and strengthening community institutions in South Asia.
Trang holds a degree in Social Sciences and has worked in different governmental as well as non-governmental organisations, including a research institute, in Germany, Vietnam, and India. She is a full-time staff at CSA and her roles include marketing communication, IT, team and happiness, as well as facilitation. Trang is a young, creative and forward-thinking person who loves to learn, share and connect with like-minded people.
Anshuman has 14 years of experience in working with natural resource management programs in India, Nepal, and Bangladesh with a special focus on smallholder farming. Furthermore, he was instrumental in designing and piloting the Participatory Learning and Action: Improving Nutrition Outcomes in rural livelihoods.

Eaindray has worked in various programmes on Children, Youth and Women Empowerment. At present, she is a facilitator in Capacity Building Initiative (CBI) in Myanmar. To date she has supported over sixty civil society organisations and thousands of individual staff through facilitation, organisational capacity assessment, strategic workshop planning, personal coaching and mentoring.
